Back to Work

#1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LILLIE NICOLE WHO IS THE BIG #6 TODAY, MISS YOU LITTLE GIRL, HOPE TO SEE YOU SOMETIME SOON!!

Well I didn't go to work yesterday, I got the sickness! I have had a sinus infection NO FUN!! Anyway, I have gotten back to work today, and I feel as though I am running and going NOWHERE. Oh well, all I can do is my best.

So I am selling my old car YAY, and God has worked that out. Praise the Lord!!! And I have done some spring cleaning for the winter. Changing out wardrobes and such, getting ready for winter. I didn't realize how many clothes I have but I have lots, not that I wear all of them. So, stuff is getting done, and I am glad it is colder, I love summer and wearing flipflops, but it seemed to drag on and on, so I hope we have a very cold winter.

So it doesn't seem like I have a lot to say, but maybe because I've said it all to someone else before, so I have got it all out and now I can't remember what has been happening. So sign my comments if you stop by, just a quick hi will do:)P

Emma

went to Birmingham this morning, to meet with the team of surgeons at the childrens hospital. She has fluid in her middle ear. They are hoping to do surgery on her lip, nose at 3 months, roughly that is January 25. And at this time they are going to put tubes in her ears as well to drain the fluid. Then at 10 months, she will go for the surgery on the Palate(inside mouth), and at this time, they will put larger tubes in her ears. So praise the Lord, he has answered prayers thus far, go to link above to get the horses mouth edition:) That would be Oma:) She is the horses mouth:) hahaha

Anyway, work is work, life is moving along, I had the opportunity for sweetness this morning. I was able to be sweet, instead of (old faith) being rude and helped a co-worker out with a tough situation. Anyway, I love life. I love being saved, and being able to pray for things myself, and the ability to live for God in this present world, free from sin.

Not much

Is going on in my life, I am working (hard haha) and we are attending services at Morgan City for their fall revival. Life is just moving along. Emma is home, went home last Friday, and she will be making her first appearance at church tonight, she is a little ball of nothing just light as a feather. But anyway, I will hope to have some interesting stories in the coming days?? Who knows.

I have a Dr Pepper addiction now, I never really liked it before, was kinda sweet tasting, I always preferred coke, but I really like it now, and I get so hyper on it, that I keep everybody up later than usual, and its hard for me to wind down, but when I do, I crash. But I like it anyways. Yes, I had some before posting this.

Another ONE??

Yes, we have an update on Emma Grace, she is up to 20 cc's and they are going to 30cc's this evening, using mothersmilk:) Yay, this is great news, she is moving right along and if she keeps up at this pace, she will come home Friday or Saturday:):) Thank you for your prayers:)

On another note, just sharing a peev of mine. When patients come in and use the bathroom and they go #2 (you know) and don't bother to use the fan and shut the door. That is just a gross thing, what is worse if your another patient and walking into the office and getting hit with that smell. EWWW. And then when you are sitting at a desk (me) and someone walks in to sign in and lets out this huge gust of wind right in your face...you can't puke cause it would go onto them, so you just back up until it goes away...This post brought to you by experience of the day:)

Still Improving:):)

Yay, baby Emma is continuing to improve everyday. This morning she went from eating 5cc's to 10 cc's per feeding and the goal is 10cc-20cc's each feeding in order for he IV to come out. Also her breathing is becoming more normal, she has been breathing with her belly, and now she is breathing with her lungs! I'm so happy, maybe, Lord willing, she will be out by Friday. We went into the nursery to see her last night. I got to see her up close and touch her for the first time last night. She is a sweet, sweet baby!! She has the tiniest little fingers, but they are long (piano anyone??). And long narrow feet. She has very petite features (yay) and is so pretty, and lots of soft dark brown hair (yay again). I can't wait to hold her. Please pray saints that everything will continue to go well so she can go home soon!!

Nothing too much is happening, ready for church tonight and looking forward to revival in Morgan City next week. I have to run errands at lunch, and take care of some things for the car. I am thanking God publicly for my new car, I love it a lot and appreciate it more, since driving my old one last night...Yay!!

bye for now.

Better

Today is better for little Emma, her breathing is better today. Niki got released this morning, they are running around town, getting things ready for the baby to be able to come home. Hopefully she will be able to start eating tonight if her breathing is still ok.

In other news, OCD guy didn't get upset. Mom said he kinda laughed. But the black tape was still on the despenser today, so maybe he found it useful afterall.

Well nothing else is going on too much. Just waiting for the chance to hold my niece. How often we take well babies for granted. Its not until we have to wait that we appreciate them more:):)

Toodles:)

Not feeling to good

Baby Emma is not doing too good today. She gagged for a whole hour last night so they put her on an IV:( Poor baby I hope she is better this morning. She still hasn't been able to be in Niki's room. We are going up there this morning, so hopefully we will get to hold her some. Mom and grandma got to hold her yesterday afternoon, so the Aunties haven't had a chance yet. Anyway, saints of God please keep her in your prayers that she will get well enough to come off the IV so she can go home tomorrow as planned. She was evaluated by the Neonatologist and she said everything looked good internally, lungs were clear heartbeat was good. So just keep her in your prayers.

On other news, mom took off today too, so she won't find out the reaction of Mr. OCD:(

Off to the hospital!

October 8, 2006

At 1:31 this morning we welcomed a new member of our family. Emma Grace McCleskey-Goldsmith. Weighing in @ 5lbs6oz and 18 1/2'' tall, she made her appearance into this world. I would like to commend my sister Tausha Nicole on this feet of giving birth, she was in early labor, and we finally got a "dr" that didn't just send her home. Niki pushed for 1 minute total.
A-MA-ZA-ZING.

In other news, yesterday flo and I went to work with Mom to help get some overtime in we were shredding and filing reports to help her out. The office we were in had a OCD employee, even his tool chest was in efficient organized, spaced out order. Well I had to teach him life is not as serious as he may think, so I rearranged his stapler, tape, and calculator for him. And on another desk i switched out the scotch tape for the black electronic tape:) Its so cute, I hope he finds it a more efficient way to use the black tape (i saw it in a magazine once). Anyway, Mom will have to let me know if he got upset or not. I hope he can take a joke. I CAN!!:)

So we were up at the hospital til 4 this morning, finally went home and went to sleep. We are headed to the hospital in the next few so, hope we gets to hold her this mahnin':)

I'm outtie!

TGI FRIDAY

OK so this morning was aweful. It wouldn't have been so bad if I could have woke up earlier. I love overcast, stormy days and thats what I thought we were having (its sunny now). But I just kept hitting the snooze button, and ended up late to work. Flo made these little bacon/egg/hawaiin rolls for breakfast they were really good. Going down the road I came upon a wreck, so thank God I kept hitting the snooze button. Even when we think its aweful that we are late, sometimes its for the best. Anyway...

#does this post seem all jumbled up?

Left a little early from work yesterday, went to meet Niki at the hospital. That baby sure does like to tease us about when she is coming. Anyway, prayed with Niki and tried to make her laugh, she was really upset and panicky. So anyway, ended up going out to eat afterwards, then went home did all the laundry and cleaned what was left over:) I hope Niki is feeling better today. We have dinner at her house tonight, so that should be some fun. Don't know what were doing after.

Peace out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

TO ELLIOTT SMITH who is 1 year old today!! Have a great one!

To everyone else. Life is wonderful. What a blessing to be saved and sanctified!! I'm so happy to be out of that old life of selfishness and sinfulness. God is so good. Many songs have been floating in my mind. I am sure you can figure the way they are going. "Don't give up on the brink of a miracle..." "God is working, he's still working...", and "Stand still and let God move..." If you are a saint in the Church of God, remember our "request" close to our hearts:) Thanks.

Now I heard a patient talk of a most peculiar thing. Its called "Dark Chocolate antioxidant: with Acai berry" if anyone has ever heard of this, could you let me know. Its like a "fix all" or natural cure for a lot of things. The patient left me with some material, so... I know its expensive, but myself, I do not like modern medicine, I believe the medications they give you are worse than the problem that you have, and should seek "alternative" treatments. (I know I work in the medical field) But God is greater than any "Dr." and we can help ourselves in the health of our body. Let me know if you know anything about this.

Have a good rest of the day!!

Funny, and so typically ME!!

I woke up this morning with a song in my heart. Got ready to go to work, and had a glass of water with me for my commute. So I was singing and praising on my way to work, reached over for a sip of water, and the glass slips and pours all over my skirt. It wouldn't have been so bad if there hadn't been so much. There was a puddle of water on my skirt and was dripping, so the back of my skirt was wet as well. There is just another example of the clutz that I am!! Guess it runs in the family! *winkwink* Anita:) Thank God I didn't lose the song in my heart!

Back to the Grindstone

Hello to everyone!! Back to work this morning. Thank God, it wasn't unbearable, he really blessed me there, this afternoon is a little, and still have lots and lots to catch up on before I can go back to work as normal. But God blessed me to be able to go to campmeeting, at the last minute. Guess my boss isn't so terrible when I can pray for him:) Anyway, thank the Lord I stepped out on faith to go and then I get another "surprise" I thought, for my birthday my employer just gave me my bonus(monthly) and last paycheck of the month together. But when he is filling me in on work this morning, he tells me I have a check in there. Well I'm asking him didn't he already give me my bonus on my birthday and he said "No that was for your birthday". So praise the Lord, that was a nice birthday present and in the right time. God has been so good to me, there is so much to praise him for.

We were able to go to Asheville on Sunday morning for service, thanks to Sis Lisa and Bro Shea for allowing us to stay with them on Saturday night. They were a blessing for us. Its a blessing to be amoung the saints!

Anyway, guess I better get back to work. Have a good rest of the day!! And a better tomorrow.
